As a qualified technician, your position is to supply technical and diagnostic services efficiently and accurately, following predefined procedures.
The Minimum Responsibilities
Process and Governance
- Follow standard operating practices (SOP’s) in your area of work and help develop standard operating guidelines and guidelines Report any unresolved problems to management and Identify and suggest solutions to improve service quality.
- Report on activities to aid decision-making and conduct research to give data on product defects and Deliver on performance targets as per procedures and agreements
Finance
- Execute tasks efficiently to maximize financial performance and Follow organizational policies to reduce financial waste.
- Give proper vehicle health reports to service advisors to boost sales revenue.
Client/Customer
- Give exceptional service to exceed client expectations.
- Foster a culture of customer service excellence and safeguard client assets as per company policies.
- Offer specialized advice through service advisors
People
- Attend training to enhance your skills and uphold the company’s values.
- Share understanding with colleagues and provide technical coaching to apprentices.
- Encourage a culture of continuous learning and teamwork.
Competencies
- Conflict management, customer service, problem-solving, personal development, and Occupational Health and Safety, and Product and Service Understanding
- Reporting and Interpretation, Research and Information Gathering and Technical Ability, Technical Learning, Vehicle Diagnostics and Servicing
The Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar position is preferred.
- Trade and Occupational Qualifications with NQF Level 05 and a valid driver’s license.
Skills and Personal Attributes
- Proficient in computer literacy and a Knowledge of industry legislation and a valid driver’s license.
