the Minimum Responsibilities

  • Follow Agile methodologies (SCRUM / Kanban) and work in a DevOps culture, Collaborate with multi-skilled teams, involving architects, developers, and UX designers, and participate in design discussions, scoping, and prioritization. Contribute to technical specifications and software application architecture.
  • Develop cloud-based functional mobile applications at an industry level, Write secure, stable, and testable code with minimal defects and Conduct code reviews and write unit tests. Document software entirely for future developers, Implement coding design patterns and adhere to coding standards.
  • Give after-hours support for applications, troubleshoot, and fix defects promptly and Continuously develop skills and share understanding in the team. Understand business impacts and contribute to technical decisions. Research and share programming and technology-related advances

Experience and Qualifications Requirements

  • Matric certificate with related tertiary qualification and over 2 years of experience in Android mobile application development.
  • Understanding of Swift 5 for iOS Native App Development, Xcode/AppCode, and Kotlin (advantageous) and familiarity with containerization technologies, CI/CD tools, cloud providers (AWS preferred), IaC technologies, and collaboration tools.
  • knowledge of architecture styles such as Microservice and serverless architectures, Critical thinking, root cause identification skills, and attention to detail and the Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Good communication skills, team player, comfortable with pair programming, commercial and business awareness.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Commerce, or Management Studies (Required)
