Position Enrolled Nurse Specialist | Cardio-thoracic ICU

Introduction

A job openign exists for an Registered nurse specialist based in the cardiothoracic ICU at Life Anncron Hospital, reporting to Unit Manager Tina de Wit.

The successful nominees will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of uncompromising quality care in line with firm strategic objectives and applicable health and nursing legislation

Critical Outputs

• Execute duties to meet the requirements of quality patient care, making sure that all nursing activities carried out comply with SANC regulations, relevant legislation, and Life Healthcare policies and procedures
• Maintain all health, safety and infection control standards to ensure a safe patient environment and Effective utilisation of resources and maintenance of equipment.
• Correct record-keeping and The continued education of patients and Building effective relationships with patients, doctors and other medical personnel to ensure quality patient care

The Minimum Requirements

• Qualification as an registered Nurse, Registration with SANC and Nursing experience in ICU are important
• The ability to work shifts according to the operational requirements of the hospital, Knowledge of the private healthcare industry, its challenges and role players would be an advantage and Computer proficiency will be an advantage
